AZ RENIASSANCE FAIRE!


The DREAD Fleet raided the Arizona Renaissance Faire en force on the Sunday of Pirate Weekend, but we hope you kept a fair eye out for the wily Captain Red Cap and her crew as well as Moon Mermaid and other fleet allies throughout the course of the festival. Congrats goes out to Commodore Max for taking second place in the Pirate Contest! J.J.M. Czep as Captain Blackstrap made


her appearance with Commodore Max on both days of Pirate weekend at the Book Shoppe. It was another sold out sort of weekend though much like the first year at faire, so we do apologize if you did not make it to the booth on time to snag Blackstrap’s Ecstasy. There will be several more chances throughout 2012 to pick up a copy, but best not dally about it as we understand another story will be hitting the decks very soon! www.theDREADfleet.com

Comic Con? Well, the Dread Fleet is! Welcomed into port for another year, the DREAD Fleet offers even more excitement to awe audiences. 2012’s hour-long stage performance scripted by J.J.M. Czep (Captain Blackstrap) will again showcase the stunt prowess of choreographer Casey Plute as she plays Captain Red Cap. Pirate aligned belly dance troupe bint Hazine (Daughters of Treasure) promise to make an appearance this year as well, adding sultry moves to the show and maybe even some butt kicking of their own. And of course, special appearance by Captains Maxmillion de Xavier and Theodoric Brandywine cannot be forgotten. Join the crew, every evening at the Phoenix Comic Con!
