“Thumbs down to the
Town of Hudson Selectman. While it is very nice that you acknowledge Phil Rodgers in the annual town report, it would have been nice if you spelled his name right!”
“Thumbs up to the lady
who found my purse in the cart I had deposited at Walmart and instead of just turning it in you drove it over to my house. This was really appreciated and my husband who was so excited at the time did not get your name. I would like to thank you in person, as I was still at the store waiting for the police to show up an hour later, and give you a token of thanks from me and my husband. You renewed our faith that there are still honest and good people in this world. Thank you just does not say enough. I hope you will stop by again. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!”
“Thumbs down to the
Therapist in Hudson that reports her patients to State Agencies, people seek help and you only bring pain. Therapists typically give the same advice about feelings towards parents or divorcing one’s spouse to become in touch with one’s inner feelings but this therapist has a new twist, reporting her patients to NH state agencies when you don’t take her advice. Is there a concept of malpractice for Therapists? There should be.”

603-635-2012 did a great job of representing Litchfield!!”
“Thumbs down to my neighbor with the derogatory truck decal disrespecting my President. I don’t know where you were born, but in America it’s not cool to degrade the Chosen Representative of our country. If you didn’t vote for him, you’ll get another chance for change. I voted for him, I believe he is a great man, and I’ll vote for him again. I may not like the next person to get the position of

“Thumbs down to the person that feels Hudson Selectmen must be for tax-payers, but against town employees. Since when are our police, firefighters, and other workers the enemy? Unlike hypocrites like you, I know that you get what you pay for. I would rather know that my family and I have the best people working for us and protecting us (which we definitely do!). I have no clue what rock you live under, but Hudson residents get the best services around and have below average taxes!”
“Thumbs up to our town
employees! I moved up to Hudson from Massachusetts about 8 years ago. Some of the residents here really need to get a reality check and move to other towns for a while. The services every single one of you provide here in Hudson is above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen. Keep up the great work and don’t listen to the
negative ramblings from obviously spoiled, ungrateful people.”
“Thumbs down to the Republican in congress for proposing cuts to middle class family tax deductions while protecting the wealthy. We all want balanced budgets and to pay down the deficit. The answer is in history. Cut military spending and reverse the tax policies enacted in 2002. Don’t mess with the deductions that middle class Americans need today to balance their own budgets.”

budget); 2009 total deficit was 13.2 Trillion (this was the end of Bush’s last budget); $1.9 trillion incremental debt in FY2009 (Bush); $1.7 trillion incremental debt in FY2010 (Obama); $1.3 trillion incremental debt in FY2011 (Obama); $1.3 trillion incremental debt in FY2012 (projected)(Obama).”
“Thumbs down to not learning from history. In the 1990s, federal debt fell primarily due to decreased military spending and tax increases. We had budget surpluses for 3 years. During 2001-2009 the public deficit increased from $5.7 trillion to $13.2 trillion. This deficit growth was primarily driven by tax cuts and increased military spending. The debt increased from $13.2 trillion in January 2009 to $15.2 trillion by January 2012. This prevented a depression by infusing capital into the economy which: saved the auto industry, shored up the US banks and prevented the housing market from collapsing due to high unemployment.”
“Thumbs up to all of the Hudson and Litchfield residents performing in Peacock Player’s production of Winnie the Pooh! Break a leg!”

congratulations to the Alvirne Broncos Hockey team for an outstanding final game! More importantly, what an
amazing season this has been for all of you. The hard work, dedication and pride you have shown and given to your teammates, coaches, parents and fans has truly been a gift. As a senior hockey Mom, I couldn’t be prouder of
up and let someone out, especially if they are heading to a red light anyhow! And I know for a fact the ‘laws of the road’ do not state to be a inconsiderate person.”
“Thumbs down to Obama Administration’s recent effort to pander to women’s concerns by touting the free contraception from his unwanted health-care law. I am the primary income provider for my family, my husband has been out of work for two years, where are the jobs? What will he do about the nation’s debt, he can tax billionaires to poverty but with that unless he drastically cuts spending the country will be bankrupt! He is despicable.”
“Thumbs up. I like your article in the paper about the white swans, but a little update, they are now in Ottarnic Pond. I’m calling from the trailer park and we’re pleased to see them out there. It’s nice to see those beautiful swans.”
“Thumbs down to Hudson’s snow removal department for destroying Newland Avenue. Good job, fella’s! Who’s going to pay for that one? Not the Highway Department, right?”
“Thumbs up and congratulations to Chelsea
Blanchard for giving up your spring break with the Rivier College girls and heading all the way down to Florida to build a couple of homes for the Habitat for Humanity in Fort Lauderdale. There was 9 or 10 other colleges from around the US that were a part of it. Chelsea was a prt of it and we are very proud of her!”
“Thumbs up to Charlie and Lois Blanchard, residents of Hudson, who just celebrated their 50th
Wedding anniversary. LeeAnn and Mark
just wanted to say congratulations!” “Thumbs up to the Alvirne Ice Hockey team,
players and coaches. You made us all very proud!!”
“Thumbs up to a very kind lady from
Litchfield. Sorry I can’t remember your name. Our car broke down a few weeks ago at the 102 Plaza, Derry Road. This lovely lady gave us a ride home. Many thanks for your kindness. Signed, grateful older couple.”
“Thumbs up to the voters of Hudson. Quote:
all of you. To my son and Assistant Captain, Brian, though your high school hockey career has ended, the memories and friendships you have made will last a lifetime. It’s been an unbelievable journey and I am so happy to have been there to share it with you.”
“Thumbs up to the thumbs up about cheer camp. Yay!”
“Thumbs down to Alvirne High School for taking students to France and allowing them to get drunk over there. It may be ‘legal’ for them to drink over there, these are still minors in the states. They need to be 21 to drink! Fine example!”

‘If the heat is too much in the kitchen, get out Mr. Jasper.’ Recently in the newspaper about the State Representatives, he had some attitude in this town. Well, Mr. Jasper left the building before the last count. It was too hot I take it!! Should he be representing us in Concord?? Take notice, Voters!!”

“Thumbs down to the people in Litchfield that borrow money off of friends and family to get caught up on their mortgage and instead go on vacation.”
“Thumbs down for not letting people out of side streets. It’s not a matter of right of way, it’s a matter of courtesy! One does not have to cause a major traffic jam or an accident to simply ease
