We are delighted to welcome the Norwegian Academy of Music Sinfonietta and their conductor Per Sigmund Thorp, who appear as part of a new collaboration between the Norges Musikkhøgskole and the Academy. This concert, which features works by Academy PhD student Elo Masing and Head of Composition Philip Cashian, will be repeated in Oslo on Friday 20th April.

With Maxim Vengerov, renowned international soloist and newly appointed Menuhin Professor of Music at the Academy.
The Academy Baroque Orchestra present a very English programme of music by Handel and his contemporaries. The rarely heard cantata Cecilia volgi un sguardo is performed alongside popular concertos as well as a suite from the newly discovered reordering of the Water Music.
