Spectral

After a successful launch at last year’s ARC Show, Spectral returned with a range of luminaires that displayed all of the company’s customary design flair. On the stand were a number of eye-catching products including IRIS, JEP and NOREA, along with the bespoke mounting track system, H-PROFIL. Of particular interest was IRIS, a circular T5 luminaire, available in surface or wall mounted, suspended and recessed versions. IRIS comprises of a transparent halo body that incorporates a micro-prism diffuser wrapped in opaque or transparent plastic housing. Using bespoke control gear to allow it to have a hollow centre, IRIS features replaceable coloured foils to add a true design feature to this range. www.spectral-lighting.co.uk

Toshiba Toshiba Lighting Systems UK returned to the ARC Show for our second year so far. A newcomer last year, Toshiba’s 2012 ranges have grown to meet the increasing demands of customers for lower energy lighting that delivers high quality light and long life from LED lamps and LED Luminaires. Our products were well received by visitors this year, and we were glad to see a particular interest in our MR16 9W and the weatherproof IP65 at this years show. www.toshiba.co.uk/lighting

PhotonStar LED

PhotonStar had a very successful show, celebrating commitment to UK manufacture. Our visitors agreed that UK design and manufacture contributes to a high level of quality - whether that is LED luminaires or our delicious Cornish Pasties! 98% of our visitors were pleasantly surprised when they could not identify the LED product in our "ChromaWhite Tungsten Plus" / halogen MR16 side by side dimming demonstration, and preferred the superior colour quality of the ChromaWhite. This was reinforced by a huge majority voting for "ChromaWhite Tungsten Plus" at the ARC innovation zone, which won PhotonStar the prestigious visitor's choice award. www.photonstarlighting.co.uk

LED Light Sheet

The most exciting aspect of the ARC Show 2012 for us was the variety of creative visions people visiting our stand had for LED Light Sheet. From RGB dance-floors and illuminated onyx ceilings to independent artists creating lit glass installations and radical visual merchandising concepts, we’re feeling incredibly motivated by the response to LED Light Sheet and itching to get started on some intriguing new projects. Our illuminated cube and curved LED Light Sheet (which was shortlisted for the Innovation Award) proved to be big draws to the stand, as did our new 95 CRI panel. www.ledlightsheet.co.uk
