HOW YOU CAN HELP A

signifi cant part of the Charity’s work involves the help of volunteers. We are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful team of

existing volunteers who regularly donate their time. These are the people that you are likely to see out and about, around town and at social events and they do a magnifi cent job. Volunteering can be a great way of gaining new skills

or developing existing ones. It provides you with an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. We are looking for people to join our team and there are a variety of things you could do to help us.

Getting involved

Some of these include: Event support – Attend events on our behalf, sell merchandise and meet the public. Box collectors – Help us collect existing and distribute new collection boxes to outlets. Cheque presentations – Receive cheques on the Charity’s behalf at events and meetings. This may involve giving a short speech or an expression of thanks. Providing talks – Stand in front of an audience and give a PowerPoint presentation to groups of all sizes. Magazine distribution – Get out and about delivering our Beeline magazine to the community.

If you can help, we would love to hear from you. By joining our team you can expect all the support you need. You can choose to do just one of the above, or mix and match depending on the amount of time you have to spare. All you have to do right now is pick up the phone: 01823 669604 or email us at: info@dsairambulance. org.uk
