Bus pass reminder

Many travel passes expire in the next few months. If yours is one of these, you can apply for a new one by taking a few easy steps.


If you qualify for a pass


because of your age:  call the council on 01724 297000. Confirm your name, date of birth and current address but you don’t need a new photograph. You’ll get a new pass within a few days;  email public.transport @northlincs.gov.uk with your name, address and date of birth. If you have moved since your pass was issued please also tell us your previous address; or  visit any Local Link office or Scunthorpe Shopmobility to renew your pass.


If you qualify for a pass because of a disability. You will need to confirm that you are still eligible. Please visit a Local Link office or Scunthorpe Shopmobility with an appropriate document to show this. Details are on the council website (search for ‘concessionary travel’).

You simply press the button on your pendant. The unit automatically


dials the local control centre, which is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year by trained, friendly staff. If you are unable to talk to or hear the operator, they will still get help for you. They respond to all calls.


A Care Call officer takes
