Technological Innovations

If you’re interested in getting the low-down on the latest technological advances for retail, visiting the Retail Business Technology Expo is a must!

The Retail Business Technology Expo and Card Payments Solutions is an excellent event for the retail industry. Opening our eyes to advances in end-to-end solutions across all areas including multichannel, eCommerce, marketing, merchandising, EPoS, supply chain, store systems, loss prevention, finance, payments and CRM. This year’s event looks set to be bigger

than ever, with an impressive list of seminars, at which visitors can learn about the future of retail from a number of different perspectives. All this is completely free of charge, meaning visitors can educate themselves on new technologies at over 130 seminars, conferences, workshops and other features, as well as a number of opportunities for networking with likeminded industry professionals. Seminars will take place in the Retail Technology Theatres A&B and IMRG seminar theatres, and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Keynote speakers this year include

Paul Coby, IT Director at John Lewis; Mark Fabes, IT Director at McDonalds and Paul Willows, Director of Strategy & Architecture for Boots. The show was launched in March of last year, and has since grown to double the size. With a focus on technological advances, the show aims to educate visitors on how to increase sales and reduce costs, and provide retailers with key information on how to fulfill the expectations of customers seeking an increasingly exciting and efficient retail environment. Cards and Payments Solutions is co-located within the Retail Business and Technology Expo, and offers a dedicated exhibition and conference focused entirely on cards and payments solutions in retail. Once again, the event will be run in association with Vendorcom, and will include the first Vendorcom Quarterly Cards and Payments Thought Leadership Conference of 2012. Vendorcom is a

membership organisation that represents key stakeholders in the cards and payments industry, and the conference is an opportunity to promote innovation, provide a platform for the sharing of knowledge and the resolution of any issues members are facing. Visitors looking to attend this event must book through the events section of Vendorcom’s website. The Retail Business and Technology Expo is set to be extremely informative for visitors, so if you’re looking to learn how to make the most of retail technology then head to London’s Earls Court this month!
