Egger ZOOM® ahead with new collection
March 2012 sees the relaunch of EGGER’s much anticipated ZOOM® collection to architects, shopfitters and the furniture industry. Of course, you’ll find exciting, trend orientated decors and innovative products, but what’s really exciting about the new ZOOM® concept is EGGER’s focus on service and the ways they are looking to help customers achieve more by saving them time and hassle.
Solutions for all your surfacing needs EGGER’s product offering has something for everyone. Rather than bonding veneers or laminates onto all surfaces, their range of matching products provides the opportunity to use precisely the right product for the right application allowing budgets to be stretched further, which could help customers win new business.
Each of the 108 decors on offer is available from stock in 18mm Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC), laminate and edging making it simple and easy for customers to find exactly what they need. Furthermore, they can manufacture additional thicknesses in MFC and Melamine Faced MDF (MF-MDF) upon request.
Following their acquisition of one of Europe's largest edging manufacturers (Roma Plastik), EGGER can now offer an extended range of edging with 0.4 and 0.8mm ABS edging stocked for the first time.
Lightweight boards offer benefits in terms of design and installation. EGGER offer their EUROLIGHT® boards in a range of 38 and 50mm thicknesses. A chunky look combined with low weight and high strength means that EUROLIGHT® is suitable for a range of sectors including retail, business, healthcare, education and hospitality.
From lighter cores to lighter doors, EGGER now offer as part of the ZOOM® collection FD30 and FD60 Fire Door Cores that are fire resistant for a minimum of 30 minutes and 1 hour respectively. Using the very latest chipboard production technology, EGGER has manufactured a lighter, more technically advanced core suitable for use in domestic and commercial applications.
Innovative textures Texture is no longer a secondary consideration after colour choice; it is now used to add depth and realism to reproductions. EGGER has introduced 2 new textures focused on making surfaces more tactile and natural, meaning higher value projects and ranges can be created. The brand new ST10 ‘Authentic’ texture takes woodgrain decors to the next level, and is a realistic rough matt finish for wood and material reproductions. The second new texture is ST18 ‘Waveline’.
