finish, the Bardo Collection of mosaics from De Ferranti offers a modern take on this ancient Roman craft. Featuring an almost chalky finish, the limestone tiles are available in a variety of sizes, colours and designs. Here are four colourways playing wittily with squares and borders, but you can choose from stripes, florals and other exciting geometric patterns.

Adding warmth and character, De Ferranti’s new collection of Parquet de Versailles leather flooring is perfect for the bedroom, living room, library and study. Evoking the traditional flooring of


a grand English country home, these leather tiles are a contemporary spin on classic wood Parquet de Versailles as seen in drawing rooms, hallways and libraries of heritage properties. Available in six rich hues from pale


limewashed to dark chocolate, De Ferranti’s leather Parquet de Versailles tiles are handmade with English saddle leather and supplied on a marine-ply substrate for ease of installation.

Juxtaposing rough with smooth, De Ferranti launches Velvety Concrete in 30 or 40cm tiles to add a pleasingly tactile element to any decor. These playful floral patterns are created from


velvet set into concrete and offer a highly unique surface. The pleasing tactile character of each tile and the lustre of velvet combined with roughly cast concrete offers a surface that is at once hard and soft, rough and smooth. Alternative designs are also available and bespoke commissions are undertaken.

A stunning new addition to the


much-loved Alchemy Collection from De Ferranti is a star-embossed metallic surface that adds immense character to walls and floors. Handmade in an artisans’


workshop, these handmade metallic tiles are embossed with abstract patterns to create an eyecatching surface for both wall and floors.
