The founder of Champneys Spa Resorts, Dorothy Purdew (pictured below with Anthea Turner), celebrated her 80th birthday in style with a party at the Dorchester Hotel. Guests enjoyed a four-course dinner and were entertained by Bobby Davro and eight piece band, Mixed Feelings. When asked about her thoughts on retirement, Purdew said: “I am not interested, there is plenty of time for that when you are dead!”
BOURJOIS
Bourjois invited the beauty industry elite to a glamorous evening of cocktails, beauty treats and more at the Gallery at Beach Blanket Babylon restaurant in Shoreditch to celebrate the opening of its pop up Boutique. The Boutique was open for five days during London Fashion Week and was used as a filming location for T4’s dedicated Fashion Week coverage presented by fashionista Jameela Jamil (pictured), who also attended the launch party.
AVEDA
Aveda launched its Stress Fix body care range with a Moroccan themed event at Momo in London. Guests were treated to authentic sweet mint tea and hand massages using the collection’s new Body Lotion while they were given tips on how to manage and relieve stress. The new collection includes Body Lotion, Soaking Salts and Pure-Fume Rollerball.
