creator of Sun-Believable With spring approaching I want to get my skin ready to bare – how can I achieve a natural looking tan for this time of year? It’s so cold throughout the winter months and as we wear more layers and go from outdoors to central heating, it leads to very dry skin, so as spring arrives, a good ‘skin clean’ is needed before you’re ready to bare. For the spring months, a more natural looking tan will look best and you can gradually build up your colour before the summer. Firstly, you need to exfoliate skin to banish dead cells. Use Sun-Believable SCRUB ME Body Exfoliator but make sure you apply this to dry skin for best results, then shower off. Pay particular attention to hands, feet, knees and stubborn areas. Keeping skin hydrated is also important as part of your tanning prep. Try Sun-Believable CREAM ME Body Moisturiser - it helps dilute and blend the tan for a more natural look. Apply in circular motions to avoid streaky tan lines. Then it’s time to tan! Use TAN ME Mousse in Medium or Dark. If you’re not sure, go for medium - it’s always best to start off naturally and develop your colour. Use a mitt for an easy and flawless application, using long sweeping motions working your way down your body, e.g. shoulder to wrist. If you do need to tidy up your tan, use make up wipes on your palms and whitening toothpaste on cuticles. Then you’ll be ready to bare your skin for the spring.
