Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement


The Greater Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce (GLCC) was organized in 1973 and began as the South Lake Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is dedicated to promoting a positive environment for members, businesses and the wider community by providing: business growth opportunities, education and information sources and advocacy for local business. The Chamber acts as a hub for interaction between all stakeholders.

Publications Community Guide


The Annual Community Guide is the resource for local residents and businesses in the Lincolnshire community. The guide is a comprehensive resource with listings of all GLCC members as well community information and phone numbers.


The Link


The Chamber produces a monthly newsletter covering current topics of interest to members, events and activities. The Link is sent electronically to over 400 contacts and is a great resource for members to discover all that the GLCC offers each month.


Biz Link


This electronic newsletter is all about GLCC members. The Biz Link presents Member News and Events and is a great opportunity for GLCC members to promote their business to other Chamber members.


Networking Monthly Lunch


The GLCC meets the second Tuesday of every month for lunch at a different restaurant or location. Lunch participants network for 30 minutes prior to lunch and listen to a presentation on a business related topic during the meal. Visitors are welcome at lunch and should contact the Chamber office for times and locations.


This dynamic group of GLCC members meets the last Wednesday of each month at 11:45 a.m. to network, expand their leads and contacts and to promote their business and services.


Biz 6+


The GLCC is a part of a group of suburban Chambers of Commerce including Wheeling/Prospect Hts., Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Palatine, Des Plaines and Hoffman Estates called Biz 6+. This group holds 4 to 5 different networking events and business seminars throughout the year.


Multi-Chamber Events During the year, the GLCC participates in a wide variety of multi-chamber events including Networking Expos, education seminars, networking breakfasts and lunches. Members of the GLCC have the opportunity to promote their business and services and to network with members from other local chambers throughout the year.


Lake County Young Professionals


The GLCC is one of five suburban Chambers of Commerce participating in the Lake County Young Professionals sponsored by the College of Lake County. The LCYP includes business minded individuals ranging in age from 20 to 40 seeking to get involved in the community and further develop their personal networks.


Special Events Taste of Lincolnshire


This annual event features the great restaurants and businesses of the Chamber of Commerce during a fun filled weekend that includes a variety of entertainment, food and beverages. The Taste of Lincolnshire is a highly anticipated community event with local residents and visitors from throughout the suburbs attending.


Annual Golf Outing


Members and non-members can participate in a great day of golf, raffles, contests, prizes and networking at the Annual GLCC Golf Outing. Sponsorship opportunities are available to promote your business.
