Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 is an elementary district located in Lake County, Illinois. The school district serves approximately 1,600 students from the communities of Lincolnshire and Prairie View and portions of Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Mettawa, Riverwoods and Lake Forest. Students attend Laura B. Sprague, Half Day and Daniel Wright Junior High Schools.

District 125 operates one comprehensive high school, Adlai E. Stevenson High School, that serves the communities of Lincolnshire, Long Grove and Prairie View, and portions of Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Mundelein, Hawthorn Woods, Vernon Hills, Lake Forest, Indian Creek, Wheeling, Lake Zurich, Riverwoods, Kildeer, Palatine and Mettawa.

Stevenson High School has earned a number of awards since its beginning in 1965. The school was the first public high school in Illinois to receive four Blue Ribbon Awards for Excellence in Education from the U.S. Department of Education. Stevenson was awarded Blue Ribbon Awards in 1987, 1991, 1998 and 2002. Newsweek and U.S. News and


World Report regularly have included Stevenson in their lists of America’s best public high schools. Newsweek, which publishes its list more frequently, has included SHS seven times in the past 11 years, including the last three.
