Open to teens 13 to 18 years old still attending High School, the La Pintoresca Teen Education Center (LPTEC) is a place where teens can be themselves and interact with their peers in a fun, safe and inviting environment.
The LPTEC offers tutoring with qualified staff, field trips, movies on Fridays, gaming competitions, art classes offered by the Armory Center for the Arts and much more! The Center has plenty of things to keep Teens educated and entertained including a Computer Lab with iMacs and Desktop Computers, free Wi-Fi, a large projector screen and ceiling-mounted projector, a Big Screen Television, PlayStation 3 and X-Box 360, Foosball, ping pong, and sports equipment.
The LPTEC also provides teens with the opportunity to get involved in community and special events at La Pintoresca Park. The Center is adjacent to the Park and teens will be able to organize outdoor activities and utilize other amenities including a Skateboard Park, Basketball Court with lights, Multi-Purpose Field, Small Water Park (open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day).

Each year, the Pasadena Senior Center (PSC) serves
over 10,000 seniors in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley with:
Lifelong Learning - Over 50 classes per session from Computers, Art and Dance, to Languages, Bridge and Technology.
The Sy Graff Fitness Center designed for seniors with the ultimate fitness equipment is open seven days a week. Wellness classes include Tai –Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Balance, Strength Training – and more.
Social Clubs and Support Groups to engage seniors and develop friendships.
Senior Curriculum, college-level lecture series on the arts, and national and international topics. Hot Lunches served on site five days a week.
Daily Telephone Reassurance Calls to homebound seniors. Transportation Assistance and Taxi Vouchers. SHOP – Shopping for homebound older people.
Monthly Food Distribution Program and delivery to the homebound.
Legal Counseling and tax preparation. Monthly Health Screenings for vision, blood, pressure, diabetes and balance.
Holiday Celebrations. Birthday Luncheons and Free Friday Movies.
Senior Games, national senior athletic program with 25 competitive sporting events for adults 50 + Concerts in the Park, from June through August. .... and more.
