ARMORY CENTER FOR THE ARTS Armory Center for the Arts is a nonprofit, donor-supported organization offering innovative approaches to creating, teaching and presenting the arts, through classes and exhibitions at its main location in Pasadena, as well as a range of free programs in the community. For two decades, the Armory has trained professional artists to use their expertise and enthusiasm to teach and inspire individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds. FLY CASTING INSTRUCTION Call for fees The Pasadena Casting Club is a family-oriented fishing and conservation club with membership open to the public and its Clubhouse and Casting Pool is located in the Lower Arroyo Seco. Classes in Fly Casting and Fly Tying are offered periodically throughout the year and are open to members and the public for a fee to cover expenses. The Clubhouse is open to members and the public every Sunday from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Interested parties are encouraged to visit the Clubhouse on Sundays and to ask the “Pool Captain” for information about membership, activities, and classes. KIDSPACE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM Kidspace Children’s Museum is a non-profit 501c(3) organization featuring exhibits, programs and activities that encourage a child’s growth and development through exploration of the environment, investigations in science, and artistic forms of expression that captivate the inquisitive and growing minds of children. DOG OBEDIENCE CLASSES $100 (10 week session) Classes are offered by the Pasanita Obedience Club, Inc. and run continuously throughout the year on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Pasanita has been conducting dog obedience classes for over 65 years in the Pasadena area.

LAWN BOWLING Free The Pasadena Lawn Bowling Club, est. 1921, welcomes visitors to try the sport on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Lawn Bowling offers moderate outdoor exercise and camaraderie for all ages. Free lessons can also be scheduled in advance. Members compete in tournaments at the divisional, national and international level. Annual dues for members are $180 and meter parking is free until 11 a.m. We also offer croquet on weekends. ARCHERY INSTRUCTION AND FIELD ARCHERY RANGE The Pasadena Roving Archers, Inc. offers archery lessons and tournaments at the historic 28 target regulation Field Archery (roving) range in Lower Arroyo Park. TOURNAMENTS Field Archery Tournaments are held every Sunday. Participants must have their own equipment. Tournament fees are $2 for members/$5 for non-members.


ARCHERY LESSONS Archery instruction for beginners and intermediate archers is held every Saturday morning. Archers of all ages are welcome. The beginning archery class is free. Additional classes are a $5.00 donation per session. Equipment is provided for the archery instruction program. First-time classes for Children under 10 are held on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM at Target 1 on the range. Children under age 8 are admitted based on evaluation by the instructors.


JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) - USA Archery A competitive, tournament-based program for intermediate-to- advanced archers age 8-20. Membership in the JOAD program is based on demonstrated proficiency determined by the instructor. For more information, see the PRA website, http://www. rovingarchers. com/joad.php. There is no fee for participation in the JOAD program; membership in PRA and USAA are required and members are responsible for tournament registration fees.

ROLLER SKATING & IN-LINE SKATING $35 per lesson / $60 for 2 lessons / $100 for 4 lessons New combined class format brings adults and kids together for inline skating.
