Local Teens Launch “Teen Radio Temecula” Podcast on iTunes.
Upcoming Session: March 16th through April 14th Podcasting is the world’s newest media & the Teen Radio Temecula is
one of the most exciting new podcasts for this age group. The first group of talented local teens involved in the locally produced podcast have uploaded their first episode to the entire world, via iTunes. Teen Radio Temecula is of- fered as a community class through the City of Temecula Community Services Department. The current class consists of 9 students, with the maximum for a session limited to 12 students. The inaugural “staff” of Teen Radio Temecula is comprised of Yvonne
Cheng, Hunter Ruetz, Nicholas Clay, Amanda Becerbi, Austin Eis, Shaylana Hayes, Yifei Gao, Conor Winters & Isiah Alvarez. The teens wrote and record- ed the show, while also learning about production, editing and uploading. In episode 1, the teens unveil their cool, new intro, Shaylana and Yvonne review an Oscar nominated film, “The Help”, Conor and Isiah talk about one of their favorite places to eat a burger, Yifei talks about her favorite past time, Nicholas and Austin review the latest game from the Sonic franchise and Hunter covers the 49ers needs for next season. Two home-grown creative talents are instructing the classes. Jeff Wad-
dleton and Tony Moramarco. The next session of Teen Radio Temecula classes is scheduled to start
on March 16th. The classes will run from 4:00 - 5:30pm on five consecutive Friday afternoons, through April 14th. An additional session is scheduled for May 11
Classes will be held at Big Giant Media Studio, located at 27710 Jef-
