PAGE 23 The list goes on, and the rest you’ll have to go see for yourself.

Next to the lunch and Dinner to go items is the baked goods section. WOW… recent winner of Cupcake Wars, Andrea Maue is the house baker and her skills far exceed just cupcakes. The favorite (at the moment) is the white chocolate and fresh raspberry brownie- but then there is the buttermilk banana bread and the blood orange morning muffin topped with a citrus glaze. Take a deep breath! Finally you are greeted by a family member, big smile and very knowledgable about where everything is from, including the farmers that sup- ply EAT’s food program. You pay up (per the cute sign that says, “this is where you pay up”), and to my delight, very affordable especially for what you get- farm fresh, local foods. Don Weber from Harvest 2U just happened to be in house, and we learned

that he not only supplies EAT Marketplace with much of their weekly fresh pro- duce, but he also hosts educational workshops that are farming related, at local businesses. March 31st is his first class, and will be hosted by EAT Marketplace in conjunction with Roast House Coffee Owners. Coffee is part of Harvest 2U CSA (community supported Ag.) program. Don

partnered with EAT Marketplace to offer a coffee cupping (coffee tasting and education class) class, that is de- signed to better educate the con- sumer on where coffee comes from, what is in it (yes.. there is more to that then one might realize) and how the farming of coffee effects all our lives globally.

Seemingly a

lot to each cup of coffee we drink! Roast House Coffee is a farm to cup roasting house that offers Ethical and Sustainable coffee’s, which are

also available at EAT by the cup or by the pound. EAT Marketplace offers breakfast items, baked goods and a serious cup of good beginning at 8am. Lunch is then served from 11am to closing at 4:30pm. Dinner items can be found to go all day. Store Hours- Tuesday – Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

“The idea is to make life a little less hectic and/or complicated for that

matter. We all have so much on our plates right now, that dinner is often the last thing we have time to make.” Says EAT Chef Leah Di Bernardo.
