RUNNING ALONGSIDE – PUBLISHING EXPO
SHAPING THE FUTURE OF PUBLISHING
The best insight into publishing innovation and multi-channel content
WHAT IS PUBLISHING EXPO?
Publishing Expo is the biggest event of its kind in the UK. From the traditional to the cutting edge, Publishing Expo provides something for everyone involved in producing published content – be it online, mobile or digital. The year-on-year success of Publishing Expo shows that the need to be ahead of the competition and keep up with the fast-changing world of publishing is felt industry –wide and the hunger to develop and exploit the many platforms on which to publish content is vital.
Publishing is changing fast, with new and traditional forms combining to create true multi-channel content. In 2012, Publishing Expo will shape the future of publishing with more than 100 leading industry suppliers and ground-breaking education from publishing’s best, covering any content and any channel, in digital, print or mobile.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Publishing Expo will offer four free seminar theatres, 40 seminars and eight high-level keynote speakers covering thought-provoking and sensational topics in publishing, with workshops and panel discussions. Key highlights in the four action-packed theatres explore new attitudes towards apps and insights from a brand new PPA comparative study of the digital gaming, newspaper and data industries. We are delighted to welcome Incisive Media’s CEO Tim Weller in one of our VIP slots, discussing the changing face of B2B publishing, and Carla Buzasi, editor in chief of the Huffington Post will be debating the power of the blog, the digital space and user-generated content with The Media Briefing’s cofounder Neil Thackray, in our second VIP slot. Throughout the whole programme, the reality of ‘multi-publishing’ and its implications for production, design, audience and data comes under scrutiny. Plus, with the UK’s most extensive range of publishing suppliers, we deliver all of the products and services to meet the needs of every publishing business, big or small.
