Plymouth Pavilions is keeping the city smiling with a line-up of top laughter makers in the autumn.


The fun starts in September with a two-night stand by the hugely popular John Bishop who is appearing on September 18 and 19, to be followed in early November by award-winning Jason Byrne.


Later in November it’s the turn of Jimmy Carr (November 24) and Ross Noble (November 27).


After the phenomenal success of his Cirque Du Byrne tour, Jason Byrne is bringing a brand new show to Plymouth. ‘People’s Puppeteer’ will head to to the city on November 7 with guaranteed new stories, new props, and more of his trademark high octane lunacy.


Jason’s inspired, high-energy mad-cappery has made him the biggest selling comedian at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. There is no other comedian like him and his sell out shows have won him many awards


including the Chortle Award for Best Headliner 2007, Perrier Newcomer Award Nomination 1998 and Perrier Award Nomination 2001.


Jason’s Sony Radio Gold Award for The Jason Byrne Show(Radio 2) and The Best Use of an Audiencein 2011, confirmed his place as the definitive clown of modern comedy.


Jason has appeared on Live At The Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand, The Channel 4 Comedy Gala, Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford, Marco’s Kitchen Burnout and you have heard him on The Jason Byrne Show(Radio 2), The Odd Half Hour (Radio 4) and Father Figure(Radio 2). One of the country’s most controversial comedians, Frankie Boyle has added a second summer date at Plymouth Pavilions on Friday July 27 in addition to his performance on July 26.


Going where few other comedians would dare, Frankie Boyle has made a name for himself with his un-PC humour and cutting jokes, becoming one of the most popular and notorious comedians around.


After his star turns on BBC’s Mock The Weekand his own show Tramadol Nights, he’s returning to the stage with his brand new tour: Last Days of Sodom.


Last seen in Plymouth back in 2010, his I Would Happily Punch Every One Of You In The Facetour broke records selling over 52,000 tickets in one day and with extended dates added the 150 date tour soon became a complete sell out.


Frankie’s first DVD Frankie Boyle Liveis officially the second fastest ever selling debut stand up release, sell- ing 16,000 copies on the first day alone. His latest DVD Tramadol Nightswas released last November.
