service. She had said previously that she didn’t want to make a commitment to God unless she was serious. I greatly respected that. On January 1, 2012, she was serious and sincere as tears flowed from her eyes while confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior! I couldn’t think of a better way to start the New Year. – Jamie Jones

God is really blessing both Dorcas House and Here’s Hope Baptist Church. We have been able to help place many abandoned children with loving parents in many places around the world. We now have children not only in the Philippines, but also in the United States, Canada, Australia, Norway, Belgium, Italy, and will have a young boy going to Spain in a few weeks. Without those of you who have partnered with us, this would not be possible. Here’s Hope Baptist Church is going
For several years, I have been trying to encourage the churches of the BMA of America to pray about partnering with others to form Hispanic Ministries. Many have done so, but the most recent is a blessing to me. Te eight churches of the Tarrant County Association of Texas are planning to partner with the Confraternidad Hispana of East Texas and with the Centro De Vida church of Grand Prairie in the planting of a new Hispanic church in Western Fort Worth, Texas. Tank God for their faith and positive action! Please pray for this aggressive new ministry. I believe that every good BMA church in America can partner with others in the beginning of a new Hispanic Ministry in its part of the United States. Bless you as you serve!

through a tremendous time of growth. Our building is full every Sunday. We recently had a young doctor and his fiancee join our church. He is in charge of the Rural Health Department in our town. Ten, this past Sunday, his parents and another couple joined. We are all filled with excitement. 2012 will surely be a great year of growth for the ministries here. Tanks for your prayers and support.

hawaii Jason’s long hair, bronze skin, muscles, and tattoos mark him as a typical Hawaiian surfer. He displays athletic skill and talent on the surfoard as he catches the giant waves of Oahu’s North Shore. Last New Year’s eve, a huge shark came aſter him in the water. Tankfully, its ferocious jaws missed him, but leſt a large imprint of a shark attack on his board. On New Year’s Day, Jason was at our church

giving a testimony of God’s deliverance and purpose. You see, a few years ago, he was at the end of his rope. But the rope literally broke. His suicide attempt failed, but he gave his heart to Christ instead. Jason is a faithful “soul surfer” as he witnesses to fellow surfers and others to bring souls to Jesus. Please pray for Jason as he trades his surfoard for the privilege of following God’s call in the ministry. Our Micronesian mission is impacting
lives in Chuuk State. Chita Mae Bulohabo, who is the pastor’s wife, quit her job to begin a ministry among poor Chuukese children by teaching them how to read and write, and to love music. She needs
our help and prayers to start a children’s library. If you would like to donate good children’s books, you may send them to PO Box 1226, Weno, Chuuk State, FSM 96942, which is within our U.S. postal service. Funds may be sent to the Missions office for the Micronesian project.
