his latest game in the AGS “Roadrunner” series is available to casinos in both Class III and Class II versions. The five-reel, 30-line
base set of reels is superimposed over artwork depicting a Western sunset during play, and a feature triggered in the base game can lead to one of seven progressive awards. The levels of the progressives are operator-config-
urable; there are two versions of the game, each with three options for the jackpot levels. One version has the jackpot levels ranging from a “Mini” starting at $10 to a “Grand” resetting at $2,500, $5,000 or $12,500. The other version goes from $10 to top levels of $3,000, $6,000 or $15,000. The jackpots are won through a feature called
“Pick Your Progressive.” At maximum bet, if three “Pick Your Progressive” sym- bols appear, the player touches one symbol to reveal the Mini, Medium or Major progressive. With four triggering symbols, the choice reveals the Major, Large or Jumbo progressives, or a credit award of 200 times the line bet. With five symbols, the hidden awards are Jumbo, Super and Grand progressives, and credit awards of 200X and 400X applied to the line bet. For players betting less than max, there also is a “Pick Your Prize” symbol

his game employs Aruze’s “G Deluxe” format for an attention-grab- bing video slot with a tall, mechanical-style top box headed by a tow- ering figure of a female version of the Frankenstein monster. The
“Franken Mama” towers over a display of credit amounts and, at the bottom, windows marked “Mummy,” “Wolfman” and “Vampire,” topped by one, two and three skulls, respectively. Franken Mama features those three classic movieland monsters plus skulls,
bats, ghosts and other spooky icons in the reel window. The base game is a five- reel, 30-line video slot in the G-ENEX 22-inch wide-screen format. When triggered, the bonus can be any of four different events. The player is
shown four doors, and picks one to reveal one of four bonus games—the main Franken Bonus, the Mummy Bonus picking game (pick a sarcophagus for a cred- it award ranging from 120 credits to 350 credits, times the line bet,) the Vampire Bonus picking game (pick a window to reveal a character or garlic; if a character is found, keep picking; the garlic ends the bonus with a credit award) or Wolfman Free Games (five free spins that can be retriggered within the award). Progression to the Franken Bonus and an award of free spins can also be won
within any of the picking bonus events. The main Franken Bonus displays 29 Jack o’ Lanterns for the player to
select. The Jack o’ Lanterns hide various credits, symbols and characters. Symbols lead to secondary bonuses such as the Mirror Bonus, Revival Ghost Bonus and

the Electric Chair Bonus, where players use the spin button to raise the meter dis- played on the game screen. These bonuses allow the player to collect more characters and credits. Each character collected during the
bonus lights up that window on the top box, and each character collected is award- ed a random bonus amount at the end of the event—that amount lights up on the top-box display.

that awards straight credit amounts in a similar manner, up to 50,000 times the line bet. Three or more “Revolver” symbols trigger the primary bonus game,
which can be one of two games—“Barrel Bonus” or “Saloon Spins.” In the Barrel Bonus, the player picks five of 25 barrels to reveal a credit award or start a “Chain Reaction,” which causes several additional barrels to be revealed, and can in turn automatically retrigger itself. If you clear all the barrels, a second-level “Star Bonus” appears, in which the player selects one of three state stars for an additional bonus award. The Saloon Spins bonus is a new twist on free spin rounds. It has no set
end and takes place on special bonus reels where, when a wild symbol lands, it locks that reel for all remaining spins. In this way, the player is assured of having at least one locked wild symbol on each reel before the bonus ends. And, if the bonus was triggered with four or five revolver symbols, one or two locked reels become wild reels.
