Spring Into Shape
Here's the secret: Make it fun!
One of the biggest problems facing our country is childhood obesity. Kids as young as 8 years old are being diagnosed with diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses. The solution comes in many forms, with the most important being motion.
Physical activity is incredibly important for fighting obesity, and it doesn’t have to be tedious exercise anymore. Using personal outdoor trampolines or visiting one of the many indoor trampoline parks that have popped up around Central Florida, kids and parents can jump and play to their hearts' content while getting the exercise they need.
Many experts, and even NASA astronauts who use trampoline exercises to counteract the effects of weightlessness, agree that trampoline exercise provides the most time- and energy- efficient workout possible. Calories burn more efficiently during trampoline exercise, and there is less stress on the body than with running, football, basketball or even jumping rope. It is so important to help children learn a new way to exercise that allows them to have fun too!
