Transport
Wedding transport comes in all shapes and sizes, from a fairytale horse-drawn carriage to a top of the range sports car.
As with every other aspect of your wedding the type of transport you choose should tie in with the theme of your wedding.
For instance if your venue is close to the coast, why not arrive in your very own VW camper van? But if you are tying the knot in a stately home, a classic Bentley or Rolls Royce would be much more fitting.
The unpredictable nature of the British weather should also influence your decision, make sure any convertible vehicles have a roof and be prepared in case it snows.
You also need to count the members of your wedding party and decide who rides with whom. A limousine will be able to accommodate most members of the wedding party.
For a truly dramatic entrance, why not hire a helicopter? It will guarantee to get you to the church on time and you can also take in the great views. But before you get excited about the idea, check your venue has the appropriate landing facilities.
Most care hire firms charge by the hour, so if your budget is tight think about booking it just for your arrival and ask someone with a nice car if they would not mind taking you to the reception after the service.
Other things to consider include allowing enough room for your wedding dress to avoid a Princess Diana moment, and also the distance the car will have to travel and any traffic you could encounter.
