Catering
If you have chosen a venue where you will need to provide your own catering, think about a menu that is most suited to you, your guests and your budget.
Go for one that is a good mix of colour, texture and appealing on the eye. Most catering companies offer a range of options, from a full-blown three-course-meal to a finger buffet or pig roast. It is recommended to arrange a sampling session to see what you will be served, and even if it is not to your taste you will still get a free lunch!
Do not forget to ask you guests in their invitation if they have any special dietary requirements and also consider ordering smaller portions for young children and elderly relatives.
The time and date you get married will also help decide your catering needs.
Summer barbeques and pig roasts make great alternatives to sit down meals and if you are on a tight budget get married later in the day, that way your gets will not need lunch and dinner. It is important not to forget your evening guests; they too will expect at least a light bite.
