GAME ENGINEERING LTD In recent years GAME Engineering Ltd has become one of the leading companies supplying materials handling and process solutions to the animal feed and pet food sector. A part of this has been the supply and installation of mixing and coating systems in both sectors. As a result the company has developed a range of horizontal ribbon blade and twin shaft mixers. The ribbon blade mixer ranges from 2000 litres up to 6000 litres,

all with bomb door discharge and a range of drive systems which can be chosen by the client. The mixers are supplied with top and bottom hoppers and liquid addition systems in either carbon or stainless steel.

GAME also manufacture a range of twin shaft high speed mixer/

coaters ranging from 400 litres to 3000 litres in either stainless or carbon steel. These have been supplied into a range of industries other than the animal and pet food sectors. These range from mixing line marking products to flooring for high wear situations as well as mineral and supplement plants. One of the industries major animal feed producers recommends

the GAME Engineering Ltd twin shaft coater as the first choice when installing new coating systems within their group. THE CROWN EXPANDER: PELLETING

WITHOUT A PELLETING PRESS Our customers operate more than 600 expanders worldwide. In the U.S.A. for example, turkey fattening feed is expanded before pelleting in most cases. The annular gap expander has proved to be a good solution also in other fields such as starch modification or the oilseeds- processing industry. And last but not least, we have developed our Kahl extruder on

the basis of the expander. With the extruder even higher mechanical energy inputs and modification degrees can be realised, and the products – fish feed, petfood, and snacks – can be pelleted or given other defined shapes. For quite some time, there has been a clear tendency towards coarse grinding of feed.
