Eric Kelley Photography defines beauty as organic, honest, fresh, natural… and above all comfortable with yourself. Describe a day in the life of the Kelleys: Wake up with Henry’s little voice saying “Mama, dada, oatmeal, Elmo.” Breakfast, studio with the team, gym, creative time to get inspired, Para Coffee time, dinner with friends or family or watching Downtown Abbey (yes we both watch it!) with a good glass of wine-- or a growler from Mellow. How do you keep yourself creatively challenged and your work fresh-- especially when you shoot 20+ weddings and editorial features a year? There is nothing as inspiring as real people and their lives. We have an amazing community that we work with, and we are always challenged and encouraged by our friends and peers. We are avid readers of all things creative. We talk... a lot. We rest well, and we end everything with a glass of wine. My ideal day off is spent with Henry and friends-- apple-picking, gardening, cooking, reading a book, traveling. Just living life and enjoying each other.
