all of the sudden in 2008 I got Cash Cab and thought, ‘wait a minute, everything’s coming together - now I’m driving a taxi around and asking people trivia questions.’ It just made natural sense to continue combining these two interests, which brings me to today."


Aside from being one of Canada’s most accomplished stand-up comedians, starring in his own Just for Laughs Gala and


hosting the hit show Cash Cab, which is currently airing its fifth season, Growe has also been touring theatre venues across the country with The Adam Growe Comedy and Quiz Showe.


The shows success stems from the unique approach that Growe has taken to ensure that Quiz Showe, unlike many other game shows, is not something audiences have not seen before.


"It’s a quiz show, but the other thing that sets it apart is that between trivia games I’m doing stand-up, so it’s also a full-on comedy show. It’s great because the trivia appeal allows for contestants to win some cash, and the stand-up allows for me to entertain, so the night itself is the whole package, everybody wins, no pun intended" said Growe.
