MANAGEMENT PROCESSES In 2006, Mercury went live with SAP – a state-of- the-art Enterprise Resource Planning application aimed at boosting its business performance. The company are proud to be the first European company to do so successfully on such a large scale. Available in all languages, this fully integrated IT system is accessible on-line by company personnel in all locations


By using SAP, Mercury conceived to facilitate and improve resource management (materials, labour, plant, subcontracted resources and information) and to share the information needed to manage and support the business operations between Head Office, Regional Offices and all construction sites around the globe. This ultimately assists the company to achieve greater economies and efficiencies, maintain their competitive advantage, and continue to supply an excellent level of client service.


Information flow and information management across the group is seen as critical to enable the company to successfully exploit opportunities in each market sector by coordinating the most effective use of group and local resources. The information provided through SAP also enables real-time visibility into all of the project management processes.


The deployment and management of effective information technology solutions across the group is a key task for the Mercury Group IT team.
