Spirituality Youth Zone visits As You Wish!


This month, members of Youth Zone, Chabad of the East Valley’s club for Jewish kids, will paint their own tzedakah boxes at As You Wish! Members will meet at 12:15 p.m. Sun., Feb. 26 at Chandler’s Chabad Center for Jewish Life, 3875 W. Ray Rd., Suite 6.


Youth Zone is “an innovative, unique and exciting program that gives children in grades one


through six the opportunity to participate in fantastic activities and outings, have lots of fun, and make great new friends.” The club, which meets one Sunday a month from 12:15 to 3 p.m., focuses on “teaching children how to make this world a better place for all.” Membership costs $144 per year or $20 a day, and includes a Youth Zone kit. SanTan Sun area residents are invited to donate blood to the American Red Cross Sat., Feb. 25 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1950 W. Galveston Rd. in Chandler. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., services will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. Chicken and fish dinners will be available, as well as vegetarian meals ordered in advance.
