was named man of the match in England’s crucial win over New Zealand, Sinfield is still looking to make improvements in his own game and warns the champions have unfinished business. “I’d love to improve my own performances,”


he said. “When you’re happy with where you’re at, it’s probably time to finish. “I still think there are some things in my game I can work on and help the team to be better. I think we all have some improvements to make. “I don’t think we’re completely happy with


last year. We got the last six weeks right but we weren’t consistent enough. “There are some things we need to


put right. There is a lot of hunger and determination in our group. “If we can get off to a decent start, get a bit of momentum behind us, hopefully we can be better than we were last year.”

he explosive new rugby league season kicked off in February and it promises to be a bone-crunching, breathtaking year of


blood and thunder. Europe’s top Rugby League clubs will be


battling it out over 27 captivating rounds building towards a gripping play-off series and an epic title-deciding Grand Final at the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford in October. And heading the way will be current Super League champions Leeds Rhinos who sealed the championship in a gripping final at Old Trafford last year.


Leeds are one of seven clubs from Yorkshire


playing top class rugby league: Bradford Bulls, Castleford Tigers, Huddersfield Giants, Hull FC, Hull KR and Wakefield Wildcats being the others.


And Leeds Rhinos skipper Kevin Sinfield is


gearing up for another mammoth season. The sensational Sinfield played every week of the 2011 campaign which took his match tally to a remarkable 42, comprising 36 for Leeds as they reached both Wembley and the Grand Final and six for England. Sinfield’s last match was the Four Nations

relaunching for 2012 with a new format and a more regular timeslot which will enable more people than ever before to regularly watch sport as it should be played.” As well as enjoying great live action at the


seven Yorkshire grounds, Super League fans can also look forward to fantastic TV coverage on both Sky and the BBC, where audiences have reached 25 million viewers.
