After the pony ring and great hack stable experience I was privileged to work for Leon- ard Stables a show horse barn housing from a world champion Hackney Stallion to an AQHA CHAMPION gelding . Although a horse is a horse to me AQHA CHAMPION somehow rang a bell for me.

My first Quarter horse I named Docs De- light because of all her growing pain vet bills went on to earn several Superior horse awards. After several trips to Victoria ,Texas working on a cattle ranch for my Uncle Cliff I got a job helping the neighbor start some Quarter Horse colts this led to showing for other Quarter horse owners and even though there was little win- ning involved it wasn’t long before some Win- ning started to happen.

training,entertaining,showing and teaching riders some of the Horse Show ropes I have been so fortunate to have Shown , Bred and Schooled some Great Horses,and Riders and have had the pleasure to be involved in the development of many World and Congress Champions,AQHA and Rookie Of The Year High Point Year end award winners 2 supreme Champions 5 AQHA Champions,several AQHA Performance Champions ,the only 4time youth versatility award winning horse in AQHA his- tory many State and Club champions. stop and take a break do not let training become personal, forgive the animal for not understand- ing what you ask ,remember they do not speak English .You are teaching them to do something not natural and they will let you, if they under- stand !!
