A three year member of the varsity basketball team, Garrett Tinsley is a senior at Gans High School. In addition to his starter’s role on the basketball team, Tinsley is a state qualifier in cross country for the Grizzlies. This spring, Tinsley will be a part of the school’s track squad and will compete in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meters events.

Tinsley has maintained a 3.9 GPA and a member of Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT). Following high school, Tinsley plans to attend college pursuing a degree in Biology Science.


In his past time, Tinsley enjoys various forms of art and enjoys putting his talents to use on canvass.
