Visions Festival 2012 Thursday 31 May 10.00am - 5.00pm
The BA Film and Television Programme presents its third annual Visions Festival. The festival focuses on two main sections across the day. The morning section (10.00am to 1.00pm), Industry Visions, will feature guest talks by some of the best people from the Film and Television industry.
Last year guests included Allan Tott, the former Head of Production at talkbackTHAMES (where he oversaw production on Grand Designs, Property Ladder, House Doctor and the first 2 series of The Apprentice) and Charles Furneaux, Executive Producer of the BAFTA-award winning documentary film "Touching the Void". Guests for 2012 are yet to be confirmed.
The afternoon section (2.00pm - 5.00pm), Student Visions, is a showcase of the best of the final year student work on the BA Film and Television Programme. The best selected films in three categories of Documentary, Entertainment and Fiction, will be screened on the auditorium's digital cinema screen.
Following the screening, there is a prize-giving with sponsors including Elstree Studios and the Kubrick family, Sky television and Channel 4 television.
