Creating Computer Games in Flash Schedule #535412 Entering Grades 6-8 Fee: $315 Monday-Friday, August 13-17, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In this exciting workshop we will be developing basic interactive computer games with Macromedia Flash or GMAX, using animation and action scripting. Gaming basics will be covered, such as keeping track of lives, scores, shooting targets, dragging and dropping objects, logic games, manipulation of text, and more. Junior Apprentice Business Camp Schedule # 535277 Entering Grades 9-12 Fee: $315 Monday-Friday, July 9-13, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Discover the world of business administration in this 5-day crash course! Each day will feature various business administration topics that will lead you through the workings of the diverse business world of today. Topics covered include starting your own business, economics, marketing, business law and finance. Te course will be taught in a computer lab and the internet will serve as a strong resource. Multimedia Design Schedule # 535259 Entering Grades 6 to 10 Fee: $315 Monday- Friday, June 25-29, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Join us as we explore the two major visual design programs: Basic HTML coding and graphics manipulation. You will use free web programs, music networks, and GIMP graphics soſtware to build an online music library and manipulate photos from the web and also from your own digital cameras. You are encouraged to bring a digital camera with its accessories - or a storage device (flash drive) with your own saved photos - and a pair of headphones. Learn HTML basics and then progress to more advanced web page coding while exploring interac- tive ways of adding your photos and media to your posted web pages.
