Who can attend a charter school? All resident students of the state qualify for admission to a charter school. A charter school shall enroll an eligible student who submits a timely application, unless the number of applications exceeds the capacity of a program, class, grade level or the school, if this occurs then a lottery shall take place. What is a lottery? A lottery is a random selection process by which applicants are admitted to a charter school.
GOOGLE AND THEUTEAM UP TOHELPKIDS WITHAUTISM RESEARCHERS USE WORKSHOPS TO TEACH JOB SKILLS AND TO LEARN MORE ABOUT FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN WITH AUTISM
This study used a qualitative design to examine intergenerational relationships facilitated by an intervention h-functioning boys (ages 8 17) with
autism spectrum disorders (ASD) participated in computer workshops. The investigators capitalized on the spatial skills. The interdisciplinary team structured the workshops to facilitate
computer skill development as well as social interaction. The findings indicate that technology can build on the strengths of children with ASD and promote social engagement of the children with their families.
