WISE APPOINTMENT FOR DATA8 Data enrichment specialist data8 has appointed Simon Wise as Account Manager to assist in its expansion plans for its real time data validation service Integr8.


Antony Allen, Managing Director at data8, said: “Simon Wise brings with him a great deal of account management experience having worked for ORC International and Bank of America. “We have ambitious growth targets for data8 in 2012 and Simon joins our expanding team to help meet those targets.


“Simon will be tasked with concentrating on developing accounts for our real time validation service, known as Integr8, which includes industry leading applications like Postcode Lookup”. n


DMA EMAIL COUNCIL BOLSTERED RedEye Director of Data & Deliverability Tim Roe and Silverpop Director of Marketing EMEA Richard Evans have been unanimously co-opted onto the Direct Marketing Association Email Marketing Council. Roe has over 20 years of experience in marketing and has been working with RedEye since 2004. Evans has more than 10 years’ experience in email marketing and joined Silverpop in 2005, most recently leading the company’s product marketing efforts from its North American headquarters in Atlanta before moving to the UK to lead the company’s European marketing.


Roe has served on the Email Council Best Practice and Legal hub of the DMA since March 2010 and has been involved in the production of a number of best practice white papers as well as contributing to the latest DMA best practice document. Evans has been a member of the DMA’s Email Marketing Council since his arrival in the UK in 2010 and has been an active contributor. n
