Chairman
As I start my second year as Chairman, Liz and I would like to say a big thank you to the Committee and their families and all of the Centre membership for their support during the past 12 months. We have certainly enjoyed ourselves and tried to support as many rallies as possible representing the Centre when required. Looking forward we have the National Rally at
Martyn with Liz
Eastnor Castle and the InterCentre Rally at Grantham Rugby Club. As last year I hope as many as possible will be able to attend these rallies to support the efforts of the members who are competing and representing the Centre. We had a successful 2011 and it would be great to repeat that success. You have a good rally programme to look forward
to in the coming season and thanks must go to our past and new Rally Secretaries for their hard work, the landowners who have allowed us to use their land and the marshals who have given up their time to organise the rallies. Please book on early to support your marshals and your Centre. I would like to mention two specific rallies this year. Leicestershire is hosting on behalf of the Central
Region a rally to celebrate HM the Queen's Jubilee at Stanford Hall on July 6 – 8. A full programme will be available but expect to have live music, entertainment, side shows and food. This event is being organised with the help of the ten member centres of the Central Region. The second rally is the Chairman's rally at Brooksby on August 10 – 12 where again we will be
organising live music, stalls and food. It will also be an opportunity to raise some funds to present to charity. Please try to support these rallies and book on early to show your support. More details of the programmes for these rallies will be published on the web site and at future rallies. During the coming year there will be opportunities to raise funds for charity and I would welcome any
ideas, initiatives, donations of prizes or sponsorship. The charity chosen will be The Air Ambulance and I look forward, with your support, to be able to present them with a cheque at the end of the rally season. Liz and I have thoroughly enjoyed the past year and look forward to another busy season rallying and
meeting as many of you as possible. We also look forward to meeting first time ralliers and visitors to the Leicestershire Centre giving them our usual warm welcome.

You can book most rallies on-line. Log on to
www.leicscentre.org.uk, go to the 2012 Rallies page and click the ‘Book it’ icon. Just fill in your details, check the box to agree the terms and click Submit Form, it’s as easy as that! You will then receive an acknowledgement from the Marshal.
Unfortunately, we cannot extend the facility to pre-paid rallies, as we have no secure on-line payment methods at present.
Thanks to the Marshals who have offered to accept bookings by e-mail, but you must be sure to check any spamfolders you have and please be sure to send an acknowledgement.
