construction projects either recently com- pleted or still underway. Final work on Aquinas Hall took place in late June as truckloads of furniture were unloaded and placed in the rooms. The last coats of paint were barely dry as the first oc- cupants got to break in the new building. “We already had that building rented out,” Huston said. “We had it totally rented the second week in July. Ignite Your Torch, a Catholic Youth Conference, came in with about 400 participants this year and they rented everything on Campus.” Aquinas Hall features apartment-style living, with bedrooms branching off a center commons area. It will house 100 students, mostly juniors and seniors.
Across Campus, the new track and refur- bished soccer field is scheduled to be done late in the fall semester. Along with the track and its many amenities, there will be six tennis courts and lights all around to provide for nighttime events.
