“Thumbs down! To the Hudson School Board, for submitting the FY2011 School Budget late! Residents received this FY2011 School Budget ballet a week before the voting date! Giving Residents of Hudson, little time to make an educated decision while voting on warrant articles! This was unfair to the residents of Hudson! Hudson Residents Expect to receive their FY2013 School and Town Ballot including ALL Warrant articles Weeks before the Voting Date! HSBM stop trying to hide important warrant articles and tax increases from town residents, Submit your ballot to the BOS on TIME! Stop trying to cheat the taxpayer!”

“Thumbs down…. gee I made just over $62,000 this year and paid $8,100 in taxes and I am in the 25% tax bracket. Hey Mitt, what tax bracket you in??? 15%?! What’s with that?”
“Thumbs down to the committee to find a new VP for CHS. Only one member of the community on this committee? Hope all these members will be committed to meeting the students needs first. Any discussions should be after school, so the staff members will be in their proper place during the school hours.”

“Thumbs down to me. I wish to express my sincerest apology to the person in the white minivan I pulled out in front of on Central Street Thursday evening! I truly thought I saw your right signal on and were turning onto the other street. I am sorry for putting you and any others in your vehicle in danger.”
“Thumbs down to people who choose to live in established neighborhoods and then live like they are a world unto themselves. I’m not suggesting we all look cookie cutter but are you purposely trying to stand out like a sore thumb? Would it kill you to pick up your trash and not look like a dump?”
“Thumbs down. Have any of you ever stopped
to think just how little of your church tithe actually does any good? Or are you all comfortable with it paying for pedophile lawsuits and large gaudy structures. LLB”
”Thumbs down to the Police Officer that let the 18-year-old drunk centaur go after flying into a ditch after drinking at a party on Mount Olympus. Great way to protect the rest of us. This anonymous complainer (who does not wish to be involved or provide my name, or file a formal complaint, and does not even know any of the facts) is shocked that this may or may not have even happened. If I wanted to find your badge number I could, but I cannot be bothered as I must not care that much after all.”
”Thumbs up to the police for policing the thumbs column. What a great way to find truthfulness in the public’s concerns for your departments!”
“Thumbs down, To the HLN article on Hudson
Deliberative Session this Saturday February 11th! HLN did not post the full warrant articles for these Town Warrants. These articles were edited by the newspaper and Misrepresented article 15, 16, and 17. Residents were not given the full warrant article, misleading the public during session this Saturday! Hudson Voters, please review this link to the Board of Selectman Warrant Articles from the Town website, these are the full and complete Town warrant articles. Vote this March 13th to help Bring needed change for Hudson residents!

“Thumbs down to the Republican Party. I
can’t stand any of these people like Romney or Gingridge who are running. They continue to viciously stab one another in the back. Romney could care less about the middle class and Gingridge is no role model, he has been married 3 times, cheated while he was married to boot. His now beloved wife is so low she stooped to having a relationship knowing he was still married. This woman has no morals or dignity to be called a first lady. I am voting for Obama again. At least he is trying, although he has not succeeded, like we would have liked in every problem. His skeletons are fewer than these jerks.”
“Thumbs down to the Alvirne High School math teacher who when my child and others have asked a question says she does not know how to do them then quizes on material afterwards. My question is how does a person teach with this kind of attitude. Or who does she know to slide into a well paying position like this?”
“Thumbs down, to the Town of Hudson for not 238 Central St,

Contracts costing a total of $250.00 or more (previous minimum of $10,000 spent without Local Contract Bids). Warrant article 17 reduces Town department wasteful/fraudulent spending while providing an incentive for each department that manages their department without need to increase taxes(Incentives, small cookout, holiday bonus, vacation time).”
“Thumbs down regarding the local church billboard. I don’t deny their right to free speech, I was merely voicing my right to criticize some of the ridiculous messages they are throwing in the face of the public. I agree with you, the world does not revolve around my beliefs. Again, merely voicing my opinion. You wouldn’t understand because religion doesn’t allow you to think for yourself.”
“Thumbs down to religion. Instead of
brainwashing your children at an early age, try letting them find spirituality for themselves on their own terms. Brainwashing is the only reason organized religion survives. You are taught from an early age that this is just what you do and so
figure contract gets signed w/o anything to do with the voters!!! ‘Saved 100,000?!’ We lost twice that in services! Who made out on that deal?? It was a scam and everyone knows it!”
“Thumbs down to the greed of every Hudson Board, committee, department and employee! People are still suffering out here and the ‘self- servers’ of the town could care less. We are still suffering from the teacher’s raises! This year is payback, any incumbent will be voted out and if there is one person who wants to leave their job because of no raise, let me know, I need one bad and will work at the current rate until I retire!”
“Thumbs down to the two Litchfield Firefighters that cannot support their own that are running for selectman and one is supposed to be your best friend.”
“Thumbs up to Chris Schofield for running for Selectman. Time to get some young blood in there. Just what this town needs!!!”

“Thumbs down to the Town of Hudson!
Warrant Article #16 Town Purchase and Contract Reform, Warrant Article #17 Town Waste Fraud and Abuse Reduction Incentive. These articles Will reduce Hudson town spending and help decrease property taxes. Article 16 requires all Town Departments to get a minimum of 3 local estimates for town maintenance project’s and
you accept it through adulthood. Oh and I guess a healthy dose of fear based dogma keeps you in line too. LLB”
Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down? “We want to be your Mechanic”
“Thumbs down to teachers and other school workers who feel that they deserve raises and low cost health insurance when the residents are taking home less money and having much higher health costs. Why do you feel you deserve $5 co-pays when at my job in health care $ 35-50 co-pays and $4000 deductibles are very common. You are lucky to have a well paying job with amazing benefits. I am tired of my taxes going up to pay for this while both me and my husband are taking home less every year. I know social workers, prison workers and health care workers taking salary and benefit cuts. So stating that ‘we have a difficult job’ no longer is a good argument.”
“Thumbs up. Thank you for the responsible person/s who gracelessly picked up the trash on the circle at Pinewood and Sandalwood Drive, which was obviously left by some slobs. I’ve cleaned the area numerous times, and glad to see someone else pitching in. Common sense would dictate, if you visit any area, take your trash with you.”
“Thumbs up to Hudson PD Officer Roger
Lamarche. Your commitment and dedication to the citizens and youth of this town is first-rate. Keep up the good work, and ignore the derogatory comments made by those in the comfort of anonymity.”
“Thumbs up to the LMS girls basketball team – Class M Tri-county champions! Too bad there is no state championship tournament for all the county winners in NH. You girls would do well!”
“Thumbs up to the LMS 8th Grade Lady Raiders Basketball team for an outstanding undefeated season, and winning the championship game today 2-4-12 in Hooksett. What a game!!! Congratulations to Alexis from Ed and Mom.”
“Thumbs down to the trash Fiasco in Hudson,

president of the Hudson Litchfeild Bears. Who do you think you are? You are not qualified to be in this position and it shows, do us all a favor and step aside and let someone with better people skills take over. This is not a dictatorship and you have no right to make any decision on your own. This is why we have other board position.”
“Thumbs down to the candidate for Board of Selectman in last weeks news. How can you care about Hudson when you don’t care about your neighbors or visitors to this town who drive by your junkyard and empty in-ground pool that hasn’t seen water in decades. What an eyesore!”

“Thumbs up to all the parents and children who came to the first Litchfield Playgroup. It was a great success because of all of you. Thank you so very much for all of your help. I know for me and my son, we had an absolute blast. My son made some great new friends and so did I. I can’t wait to do it all again next Tuesday!”
“Thumbs down, now that I have your attention, a big thumbs up to the Litchfield Playgroup. My son had so much fun that we can’t wait to go again next Tuesday. I am so excited that there is finally a local playgroup to go to every week. This is the perfect solution to the winter blues.”
“Thumbs up to the new Litchfield Playgroup.
This is by far the best playgroup me and my children have gone to, and it was free to boot. I still can’t believe how much fun it was. Thank you to the Litchfield Playgroup for providing a fun place for our children to go to every week.”
“Thumbs up to the Litchfield Recreation Dept.
for allowing us moms to set up the new Litchfield Playgroup. It was an amazing time and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It is great to have a place where the little ones can socialize and have a great time. So thank you for allowing this to happen and for the use of Talent Hall. We all appreciate it so much!”
“Thumbs up!!! Great job to Jessie for organizing the new playgroup in Litchfield. My son had a fantastic time and I hope we can have more playgroups during the week. Great job Jessie and a big thank you!!!!!!”
“Thumbs up. I think we have put up with the
roach and rat infestation in Hudson’s Town Hall and Selectman’s office long enough. It is time we trimmed the head rat’s mustache and ego, eliminated the cronyism and nepotism, and deported all the ego-maniacs who’s festering budgets and high taxes have nearly destroyed our little town. I know of only one sure fired way to rid our town of these roaches, rats, incompetents, jesters and professional politicians… vote once and flush twice.”
“Thumbs down to the Pond View neighborhood for having a grass field area by the basketball courts for the quads and the motorbikes to ride on. Are we even insured for that if someone gets hurt?”
“Thumbs down!!! Why do people send in
“Thumbs” about themselves, what a sad life they must have and on the subject more than one thumbs about your peave is one too many”
“Thumbs up!!! To all the school district
employees who came out to te Hudson Delibertive session on Saturday, many the room look full, hope to se you this upcoming Saturday for the Town Deliberative.”
“Thumbs up!!! To seeing Howard Dilworth at the Deliberative session - hope your feeling better”
“Thumbs up!!! The streets are being sweep
in February, there must be a saving in the snow budget this year. Get your wish list to Shawn and Roger, a windfall saving will never be given back to the taxpayer”
“Thumbs up!!! To have the school board meeting on Channel 21, to bad you can not hear the speaker over the static and the fix focus camera does little to see who is speaking, we know who has the bigger gavel, when it comes to spending tv franchise fees”
