Doubletree Hotel O’Hare, the host hotel, is located directly across the street from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois and only two miles from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD). Downtown Chicago, shopping malls and family-friendly attractions are all within 15 miles from the Four Diamond AAA rated airport hotel.


Reservations A limited number of rooms are available at the conference rate of $99 for a single or double plus applicable state and local taxes (currently 13 percent).


Reservations may be made directly at (800) 756-5505 and identify yourself as attending Institute of Industrial Engineers’ (IIE) Work Measurement conference. Please note that a first night’s deposit or a credit card will be required to guarantee the room reservations. Discount room rate expires at 5 p.m. Central time on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012. Reservations requests received after 5 p.m. local time will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

Transportation Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) is one of America’s best- connected airports and is the second busiest airport in both the United States and the world. It is the largest hub of United Airlines (whose headquarters is in Downtown Chicago) and the second-largest hub of American Airlines.


O’Hare Airport Transportation to Doubletree O’Hare: Domestic Arrivals: Complimentary O’Hare airport shuttle runs 24 hours. Please check with guest services for shuttle schedule. We drop off at departures first, and then pick up at the Hotel Bus-Shuttle Center Door #3. International Arrivals: Complimentary O’Hare airport shuttle does not automatically go to the International terminal. Guests must call hotel directly for pick-up – 847- 292-9100. We pick up at Gate 5E.

Driving directions to hotel From I-90 West: proceed in right lane toward 190-W towards O’Hare, exit River Road, turn right, hotel is approximately two blocks on the right. From I-90 East: Exit 190-W towards O’Hare, take 2nd exit Manheim South, re-enter I-190 East towards Chicago, exit River Road South, hotel is approximately two blocks on the right. From I-294 South: Exit O’Hare (I-190W), pay toll and follow to Mannheim Road South. Proceed in right lane, re-enter East to Chicago (I-190E), proceed one mile, exit River Road South, hotel is approximately two blocks on the right. From I-294 North: Exit O’Hare/River Road, (I-190W), pay toll, exit left after toll plaza to River Road, turn right at River Road, hotel is approximately two blocks on the right.
