DMUK welcomes new Sales and Marketing Director
The start of 2012 sees leading display and advertising systems manufacturer DMUK welcome a new addition to the team. Boasting over 20 years’ sales experience, Steve Gilbert took up his new appointment in January as the company’s Sales and Marketing Director. Not only does Steve bring with him a wealth of experience in sales and marketing, he has considerable experience within the signage industry at Director level. Thanks to Steve’s background in selling and promoting display products, he fully
understands the market as well as the importance of working with all teams within an organisation to improve the efficiency of the Business. Steve is already enjoying the challenge of working with a new group of people, injecting new ideas and looking at ways to improve on the overall service provided. Steve says: “Due to the uncertainty within the Eurozone and long lead times
associated with Far East procurement for bespoke products, I am particularly looking forward to promoting the huge benefits of choosing an established UK based manufacturer for such a wide range of display and marketing requirements. I have been impressed with the reactive lead times and innovative product range DMUK has to offer and I am looking forward to raising our profile within the industry.” Steve will also be responsible for driving sales of Noonlight LED lighting products.
Since DMUK became sole UK distributor of the energy efficient LED solutions in 2011 the demand for the products has escalated dramatically and Steve is putting a new marketing strategy in place in Quarter 1. For further information telephone 01842 766678. Alternatively, visit
