Metamark voted Fastsigns Supplier Of The Year

Metamark has recently been honoured with Fastsigns’ Supplier Of The Year Award at the franchisor’s annual convention in Stratford Upon Avon. It is the third time Metamark has been presented with the award and, given that it’s a reflection of voting from the many Fastsigns franchisees that Metamark deals with directly, it’s particularly well received and has been accorded its place in Metamark’s Boardroom. Fastsigns is a very successful business and its

franchisees practice its winning business model diligently. Fastsigns’ model places a focus on differentiation through service and creativity and the company offers a very wide range of signing services and supplies the broader needs of its customers’ appetites for graphics beyond signing too. It’s a formula that plainly works. Metamark’s National Sales Manager,

Karen Marshall said, “It’s wonderful to have once again been honoured as Fastsigns’ Supplier Of The Year. The award is an acknowledgement that all the effort Metamark applies to developing the right products and in consistently delivering high standards of service is effort that’s well spent. Winning this award is the outcome of a team effort and it’s on behalf of all involved that I happily receive it.” Karen received the award from Fastsigns’

Karen Wilks, Territory Sales Manager Metamark, Karen Marshall, Metamark’s National Sales Manager and Garth Allison, Fastsigns‘ Managing Director.

Managing Director, Garth Alison who said: “I’m pleased to have presented this award once again to Metamark. Metamark looks after the needs of our franchisees very well and it’s a business

relationship that we value highly. Metamark’s attitude to quality and service is a first class fit with our own.” For further information visit www.fastsigns.co.uk

ResolutionGB wins Best UK Small to Medium Business 2011-2012

ResolutionGB, a HP Designjet Elite Club Partner trading as HP Plotter, has seen its on-going programme of business improvement acknowledged further by winning the Best UK Small to Medium Business 2011-2012 Award. This award is held by Awards Intelligence the UK's leading provider of business awards and is hotly competed over with nominations from across every business sector. Andrew Areoff, Chairman of the Judges, said: "This is a

great example of a company that spotted a niche market simply through observation. By noticing that businesses using Hewlett Packard (HP) large format printers would benefit from additional technical support, they completely changed the direction of the business. Resolution set up a nationwide network of HP trained engineers and became a specialist business with a strong focus on first-class customer service. It is a small, agile business that time and time again succeeds in finding new niche areas. When the recession hit in 2008, Resolution realised that 80% of its customers were in the building trade, which was badly hit. By targeting the public sector and developing a rental

service for HP printers, it found new niche markets and actually managed to increase turnover.”

The award confirms the success of the business development

plans laid over the last three years that have seen ResolutionGB create an environment of continual improvement and the desire to find new types of services for their customers. Having won the ArtSystems Raise Your Game Award 2011, and the HP Sales Innovation Partner Award “1H FY’11” earlier in the year it was clear that all the right elements were in place to take the business forward in challenging times. Nicola Bray, Managing Director of ResolutionGB states: “Our

strategy has been simple - it’s all about understanding the customer. We have listened to customers and then delivered services that meet their new needs. We know this will change over time but our dialogue with our customers is something that will be continuous so we believe that we can always bring new products and services to them that meet their demands.” For further information telephone John Draycott on 0115 9380 333 or visit www.artsystems.co.uk
