ArtSystems Demonstration Suite up and running

An HP Latex Demonstration Suite is now open at Nottingham-based ArtSystems, featuring the most comprehensive range of HP Latex printers in the UK. The new HP Designjet L26500 and L28500 join the existing HP Scitex LX850 and are already being used to train HP Reseller Partners as the UK launch activity builds for 2012. Steve Hawker, managing director, ArtSystems states: “By

having the new printers in our demo suite we can continue to support the HP reseller partners as latex is being adopted more and more as the technology of choice for users looking to replace solvent printers. Our investment is also in support of HP’s on-going activities such as the Latex Truck Tour. Having this accessibility means we can ensure our partners are able to present the very best solutions from HP to their customers.” The HP Designjet L26500 61-inch-wide latex printer builds

on the success of the L25500 as a true solvent replacement printer and addresses the soft signage market with its new back-to-back printing option. The HP Designjet L28500 is a 104-inch-wide latex printer delivering speeds up to 70 percent faster than the HP Designjet L25500. Both continue the investment of HP to produce high quality, multi-application printers that offer greater overall productivity and better environmental performance than solvent technologies.

Resellers attended the first printer briefing event at ArtSytems

in December after which they were able to bring potential users to the demonstration suite to see the new printer. The HP Designjet L26500 is now shipping from resellers and the HP Designjet L28500 became available for shipping in January. Creative FX’s banner of support for Friends of Griffins

Bromley-based signage company Creative FX, has helped the launch of a new children’s charity, Friends of Griffins, which was set up in November 2011 by a group of volunteers to provide support and raise money for the Griffins Centre, a specialist centre in Orpington for children with hearing or visual impairments. Creative FX donated its services free of charge to the charity,

designing a new logo and producing car stickers, as well as a two-metre vinyl banner to help Friends of Griffin promote its fund-raising events. There are over 400 children in the Bromley borough with hearing

and visual difficulties and the Griffins Centre provides specialist equip- ment and education, allowing pupils with a sensory impairment to have the best possible access to the curriculum and the life of their school. Creative FX became involved with the charity after Friends of

Griffins asked them to help design a banner for display at events attended or held by the charity, including fetes, bazaars and the upcoming pamper evening. “We were more than happy to lend a hand to such a great charity,” says Creative FX Director, Sean Davis. “We hope the new logo and promotional material will help them to raise the awareness they need.” “We’re a new charity and we can’t do it without the help of

people like Creative FX,” says Joanne Price-Moxom, Friends of Griffins Chairwoman. “We hope more local businesses and people will get involved in our charity now.” For more information or to get involved with the charity visit
