Cactus supports ERTMS Cactus UniView has joined Ansaldo which recently won a contract for supplying and implementing the Happaranda line in Sweden with ERTMS Level 2 as a pilot installation. Cactus UniView developed the CTC subsystem based on the European standard for ERTMS and fully integrates it with the Radio Block Centre and the electronic interlocking from Ansaldo on Banverket’s pilot installation. Tests and trial runs are currently taking place right now and it looks very promising indeed. This CTC-subsystem can thus be customised to fit all ERTMS-solutions.


BIOGRAPHY


Since 2008, Ole Torp Sejersen has been the Director of TMS-solutions at Cactus UniView. Between 1974 and 1988, Ole trained and worked at DSB as a Traffic Superintendant with focus on traffic operations, timetable planning and optimising use of infrastructure. Other employment roles throughout his career include, among others, Head of the Traffic Division for two private railway companies and an evaluator for the EU.
