Foundry Noise Exposure Training Seminars
The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) has announced that registration is now open for its Foundry Noise Exposure Training Seminar series. The 6-hour sessions will be presented in 5 different U.S. cities, including:

Program Details:
MATERIALS: Seminar materials will be provided to program attendees upon arrival. Materials will be in print as well as electronic formats. Each seminar participant will receive a printed copy of all seminar materials.

Interested foundry representatives can register for any of the seminars via the Society’s website at
www.nffs.org. Attendee rosters will made be available at each session to provide participants with the most up-to-date information and help maximize networking opportunities.
Cancellation Policy:
Please provide notice of cancellation as soon as possible. These events have limited enrollment, and we can offer the seat to another industry professional if someone else is unable to attend.
The seminars are sponsored by the US Department of Labor/OSHA as part of the 2011 Susan B. Harwood grant program. NFFS was awarded a targeted topic grant to educate the cast metals industry on the hazards of occupational noise exposure in September 2011. Twelve organizations were selected to develop educational and training materials from the 2011 Targeted Topic list, but NFFS was the only industry trade association on the award list. In total, including Capacity Building grants also awarded by OSHA, only 37 recipients were selected from among a field of more than 190 applicants.
