PostNet delivers mail, print, business growth
by Joan Westlake
As postal rates increase and services wane, PostNet in Fiesta Plaza at Queen Creek and Alma School delivers the mailing, shipping and business services neighbors need. Owner Fred Zapata says in addition to being an authorized shipper for FedEx, UPS, DHL and the U.S. Postal Service, the store provides a full range of commercial services from stationery and business cards to banners and notarizing.
When Zapata and his wife, Karin, acquired the business last March, they remodeled and expanded services from a pack-and-ship offi ce with a few mailbox rentals to a high-quality business center with digital technology.
“We’ve really grown the business and now view it as print-and-copy on one side with shipping and mailing on the other,” Zapata notes. “The business-to-business customers are interested in how we can help them grow through advertising and that usually means print media such as fl iers, brochures and door hangers. We have a full-time, on-staff designer and print specialist. People are often surprised all we offer for businesses.”
