Registration for March 31 Hershey Track Meet is Open!


The annual Hershey Track Meet will be Saturday, March 31 at Chandler High School. The competition is open to boys and girls ages 6-14. Registration is due by Friday, March 2.

Sonoran Sunset Series at Veterans Oasis Park on Feb. 9


The Sonoran Sunset Series at the City of Chandler’s Environmental Education Center returns on Thursday, February 9 from 6-7 p.m. with a performance by The Sustainable Symphony, a non-profit organization with the purpose of bringing classical music to the people of Arizona. Guests may bring blankets, chairs, or food.

Daddy Daughter Valentine’s Day Dance on Feb. 10


Fathers and their little girls ages 4-10 will create new memories at the Daddy Daughter Dance on Friday, February 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the downtown Chandler Community Center. There will be music, dancing, contests, crafts and dinner served. Each couple will receive a keepsake photograph. The fee is $25 per couple ($34 for non-residents). Chandler Sports Hall of Fame on Feb. 11


The Chandler Sports Hall of Fame honors those who have brought fame and recognition to the City through athletic achievements. The 2012 Chandler Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony and luncheon will be Saturday, February 11 at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Parent & Toddler Activities at Tumbleweed!


Tumbleweed Recreation Center offers preschool activities in a safe play area for children five years old and younger to play under parental or guardian supervision with “Bikes, Bounce and Boogie” on Wednesday, Feb. 15 and “Bubble Blast” on Wednesday, Feb. 29 and from 9-11 a.m. There is a $2 fee per child ($3 for non-residents). The TRC is located at 745 E. Germann Road.

Wednesday Family Night Activities at Tumbleweed


Join in the fun at Family Night at Tumbleweed Recreation Center every Wednesday from 5:30-7 p.m. There is a different activity each week.
