Interiors UK 2012 Review Sarah Turner

I exhibited some of my plastic bottle lights at the Design Village as part of Designers Block. The show was a great success and many people were interested in my lights. One of my large statement pieces was hung right in the centre of the Village Pub, which looked fantastic. I take pride in that my lighting is made from waste plastic bottles, the novelty of people reactions when they realise what the lights are made from never wears out! www.sarahturner.co.uk

tp24

Overall yet again the Interiors UK show has proved to be a very worthwhile investment for tp24 Ltd, we are finding new business year after year as the great British Retail Industry begins to move towards the Low Energy Movement Led by tp24 and our super LED lamps and fittings. www.tp24.com

Chisholm

As second year exhibitors, we were a little apprehensive as to the reaction we might receive. We decided to add a big statement this year in the way of a large ceiling fan on a stand in the middle of our display. Although we cannot be sure weather it was this that worked, we have had a tremendous response to us being there. We had several orders placed on the day and many more serious enquiries to follow up.

amBX UK Ltd Kevin Martin from the up and coming UK company amBX UK Ltd attended the Interiors Show at the NEC this week with a view to finding out “what’s around in the sector” for LED lighting and control of lighting, plus to gain a general feel of the interiors market. The show as a whole was very refreshing and encompassed all for the interiors market, it was a joy to wander round and engage in potential business opportunities. www.ambx.com

Hamilton Litestat “We had lots of requests for further information and some very strong leads from the show,” said Ian Hamilton, Managing Director. “There were plenty of visitors who had specified us before and came to preview our new products but there were also plenty of new contacts for us to make. We’re currently busy distributing all the requested catalogues and following up with the contacts. We look forward to attending again next year, having already re-booked.” www.hamilton-litestat.com

Diyas

The range of products offered by Diyas continues to grow from strength to strength and is loved by visitors. As there seems to be a growing trend towards anything that sparkles, the lighting by Diyas is embracing just that. The exhibition was also a milestone for Diyas Home as they launched over 300 new items, including glass art home accessories as well as the very popular aluminium table and floor lamps. The products had a superb response as visitors appreciated the quality and unique designs. www.inspired-lighting.co.uk
