submitted by Paula Barry The Scholastic Art Awards of New Hampshire is a statewide art recognition program open to middle and high school students across New Hampshire. Scholastic’s mission is to foster creative expression and artistic achievement in students from grades seven through twelve. Each year, students enter artwork in various categories including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and digital art. Top student artwork from each school is submitted by their teachers to Scholastic Art Awards. Student work is then judged by

professional artists from throughout the state. Winners receive gold keys, silver keys or honorable mention. Gold key winners are then submitted for a national award. This year, the Scholastic Art Award winners from Campbell High School are Sarah Belisle (gold key, honorable mention), Brendon O’Keefe (gold key), Rebekah Gibson (silver key), Jacob Mercier (silver key), Kyle Messer (silver key), Samantha Radcliffe (honorable mention portfolio, honorable mention) and Madeline Vinskus (honorable mention).

Go Giants!”
