Saturday, February 4 The members of the Campbell High School chapters of Key Club and SADD are pleased to announce that they will be providing free Community Babysitting during the Litchfield Town and School
Deliberative Session. Services will open at 9:30 a.m. and remain open until both sessions end. Registration will take place in the CHS library. Available activities will include movies, arts and crafts, story time and much more. Contact advisor Mr. Michael Boutselis at mboutselis@litchfieldsd. org with any questions or concerns regarding this service. In addition, the Senior Class will be offering both breakfast and lunch during the Deliberative Sessions. Breakfast will be served from 9-10 a.m. and will cost $5 for a buffet-style meal. Lunch will be served at approximately 12:30 p.m. and will consist of pizza, chips and soda. All proceeds will benefit the CHS Senior Trip.

Saturday, February 25 The Hudson Kiwanis will hold a Sock Hop to benefit Kiwanis Trauma Unit for seriously injured children from 7 p.m. to midnight at the VFW Hall, 15 Bockes Road (off Route 111), Hudson. The event will feature music by Alan Murphy and Sound of Yesterday, cash prizes for the best male and female costume, dance contests, trivia questions, a 50/50 raffle and more. There will be a cash bar, and guests are
asked to bring food or munchies for their table. There is a cost for tickets, which can be purchased by calling 603-566-1310 or 603-765-9797.
Tuesday, February 7 Kelly Murphy of local decorating studio Décor & You will present “Decor: From the Rug Up” at the Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson on Tuesday, February 7 at 7 p.m. She will demonstrate how to coordinate flooring, fabrics and wall coverings for an inspirational look you’ll love. Plus, bring your own questions and challenges for more decorating advice and ideas.

Brenda is a Judy Niemeyer educator and she will present a trunk show of quilts from Judy’s patterns. The Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the art and craft of quilting. Members have a wide range of abilities. Thursday, February 9 The Litchfield Middle School Department Presents: Music and Macaroni at 6:30 p.m. in the LMS Cafeteria. There is a charge for the tickets. Bring the family

Starting Tuesday, February 7 The Litchfield Playgroup will begin their new community playgroup. Their mission is to provide a weekly social event that is fun and rewarding for both children and
adults. The Litchfield playgroup is a not for profit organization and is for children ages newborn to 5 years old, but welcomes all children of every age. There is something for everyone. Residents of all communities are invited, so come and visit The Litchfield Playgroup every Tuesday morning from 9-10 a.m. at the Litchfield Talent Hall in Roy Memorial Park. Sunday, February 19 The Hudson Kiwanis will hold their 27th Annual Ice Fishing Derby at Robinson Pond from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Sign-ups will be held from 7:30-10 a.m., and there
is a small fee to enter. Bait will be available from a licensed NH bait dealer. Trophies will be given to winners under age 15, and cash prizes will be given to adults. There will be door prizes and raffles as well.
Sunday, February 26 The Friends of Hudson Dog Park will hold the First Annual Cardboard Dog Sled Event at Benson Park, 23 Kimball Hill Road, Hudson, from 1-3 p.m. This is a
build-your-own Cardboard Dog Sled event where your dog either has to pull or be pulled in the sled. A demonstration will be given by a real-life Dog Sled team by our friends in the Boston Snow Dogs group!
